#13 - Adoption
Standard
A lawyer must not provide any payment or reward in consideration of a placement for adoption or for the procuring of a child for the purpose of adoption.

Any violation of this section, by anyone, is an offence and is subject to a fine of up to $10,000 and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or both. See Section 69.
