LIANS Announces New Claims Counsel

LIANS is pleased to welcome our new Claims Counsel, Lisa Wight.

Lisa brings a wealth of experience as a general litigator and negotiator as well as practice experience in various areas of law.

During the next couple of months, Lisa will work closely with Gerri O’Shea, who will be retiring from LIANS at the end of March.

Files currently handled by Gerri will be reassigned to Lisa as LIANS works to ensure a smooth transition of claim handling.

Going forward, Lisa will work alongside Patricia Neild who, together, will continue to deliver the high quality of service in the professional liability insurance program for which LIANS is known.

On behalf of LIANS and the Society, I would like thank Gerri for her exemplary service to LIANS and the membership. Her professionalism, skills and knowledge of the law are unsurpassed. We wish her all the best though it goes without saying that we will miss her.
