LIANS: YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY INSURER

SERVICES

Lawyers are required to report a claim to your insurer as soon as practicable after learning of a claim or becoming aware of circumstances which might give rise to a claim, however unmeritorious.

The Nova Scotia Lawyers’ Professional Liability Insurance Group Policy provides basic professional liability insurance (Part A), optional excess insurance (Part B), and a trust protection indemnification policy (Part C).

Many organizations now recognize that mentoring is key to maintaining and enhancing professionalism and lawyering skills.
