The amended Limitation of Actions Act was proclaimed September 1st, 2015. Lawyers are reminded to continue to track limitation dates carefully and to file their actions on time to avoid claims against them. The following resources will assist you:
- The Act establishes a two-year basic limitation period (including motor vehicle claims) and creates an ultimate limitation period of 15 years. It does not apply to real estate matters.
